New Workday Inbox Called "My Tasks"

Workday is retiring the Inbox for all customers in March 2024 as part of the 24R1 Workday release and transitioning customers to a redesigned task management solution called My Tasks.  To get ahead of this change we will be enabling My Tasks on January 16, 2024.

What’s New?

  • Navigation: My Tasks delivers a more intuitive user experience, reducing user confusion when finding a task.
  • Search: Locating a specific task is faster with advanced search capabilities.
  • Organization: Saved Searches allow users to organize their tasks without the need for custom filters.
  • Awareness: New users to My Tasks will be presented with a guided product tour, which introduces new features and functionality, reducing the burden on Administrators.

What you Need to know

  • All of Workday Inbox's mission-critical features are supported in My Tasks.
  • No tasks (pending or completed) will be lost when My Tasks is enabled.
  • All new users will see a product tour that will disappear once a user completes or dismisses it.
